I so almost ordered from Papa John's tonight. But I settled for spinach fetticine instead.

So. I just went through all my foreign coins. I have a lot of Austrian coins, oddly. Didn't spent much time there (maybe a week, tops.) But I have a fair amount of Soviet kopeks and rubles. Stamped from the '50s and '60s. Kinda weird. At first I thought they might be my grandparents' relics, but I have no swedish crowns, so they are probably my acquisitions from 1991. I guess I left most of my czech koruny and hellers with my friends there.

It's odd to think I have currency worth nothing now, but that has historical relevence. I have paper rubles from 1961. Odd.

The status is NOT quo.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just got back from picking up McDonald's because it's close.

Ooh, like confederate currency, but newer. I listened to a story on NPR about a place in France that was drumming up business by continuing to accept and give change in Francs rather than Euros. Only slightly related. It seemed more relevant in my head.

OK, now I'm picturing you at the makeup counter, and the salesperson is going, "So, are you going to buy paper-white foundation.... or did I just blow your MIND??"

It's more me muttering "no way this is right" over the samples at Target. I should hit a make up counter and see if it's a more transcendent experience.

Welcome home, Robin!

Congrats on hunting and bringing down the wild job, ita!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am watching last night's 30 Rock for the second time because it rules. I just realized this time how much I am, in fact, Liz Lemon: it's not just the glasses and the obsession with food, but we wore the EXACT SAME outfits to work this week and she also has two-inch dark-brown roots! Now I don't feel so bad about being approximately six months behind on my color.

I love the idea of bon bon being Liz Lemon and vice versa. Also, I haven't posted with you very much, bon... congrats on your good news!

actually good news abounds! ita, a non-huge- commutey job sounds fabulous!

Robin! Glad you are home.

I'm starving and yet exhausted. Make food or go back to bed?

grilled cheese sandwich made and partially consumed. Too much upright time, I think.

Today's weird ache and pain is my elbow, which is infinitely preferably to my back. I think I'll go sleep it off.

Yumm, grilled cheese sandwiches! A real comfort food, up there with egg salad sandwiches.

Hope you're feeling better, Kat!
