Hey,Robin, congratulations on your loss of hysteria. P.S., some opiates do that to me too. It is narsty.
I remember going shopping for loose powder once with flea in highschool, and we went to the Clinique counter, and she got shade 001 while I got shade 002. (Of like, forty shades for white people.) So at least I know I am not the palest person here!
Brenda is definitely pale.
Man, Travelocity just teased me with a $99 fare to New York, but it wasn't there when I clicked through. Which is fine anyway. I couldn't go to New York. To see Audra McDonald in "110 in the Shade." Or Alan Tudyk and John Mahoney in "Prelude to a Kiss." Or Raul Esparza in "Company." Or "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." Or "The Drowsy Chaperone." Or Kristen Chenoweth in "The Apple Tree." Or the "Chorus Line" revival. Or...
WTF, they're turning "Legally Blonde" into a musical?
WTF, they're turning "Legally Blonde" into a musical?
It's already playing in SF. Or maybe I'm just deceived by all the posters all over town.
Timelies all!
Another member of the Pale Pale White People club here. My face has a bit of pink to it, but still rather pale.(The contrast with my hair/eyebrows brings that out) Other parts of me are damn near translucent. I don't know if I look my age, but some of that is due to the oily skin I inherited.(Thanks Mom!)
Welcome home, Robin! At least you got the projectile vomiting out of the way at the hospital, instead of in your own bed.
My skin is darker now that I live in CA . but I am paler than I look.
I don't think of myself as that pale. But occasionally I see myself naked in the mirror and I have these huge blue veins in my poitrine, and I go, "Huh. I bet most people can't see their veins so clearly."
Paler than you look? I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean your body is paler than face, arms, etc? I think that's fairly normal for most adults. That's part of why my daughter's skin is so beautifully translucent. It hasn't yet been through decades of sun damage.
