Yes, but batter-dipped or crumb-dipped? If the former, the crumbly ones or the puffy ones?
Batter-dipped always! And the less crumbly, the better, so puffy is best.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Thanks, Hec. Delica always looks so good, but I always get tempted by some other place before I get there....I will be strong, and go there straight from the ferry without even going inside, next time I'm over that way.
Was it so good that you had to kill the cook afterward?
It was pretty freakin' tasty. She was all, "Pork tacos?" I'm all like, "Not pork. Carnitas! They cook it in its own fat! It's unbelievably luscious. It makes foie gras look like a celery stick."
Darn you people. Now I really want fried potatoes of some format.
Luckily, that distracted me from the big fucking work clusterfuck I just got myself into. And it's 150 degrees in here, which is NOT HELPING.
It makes foie gras look like a celery stick.
Have y'all heard that they've banned foie gras in Chicago?
For some reason, not all restaurants have complied....
Balancing out yesterday's weight news is the news that even a half dosage of cholesterol meds keeps my liver enzyme count elevated enough for my doctor to worry. They told me to stop taking them entirely and watch the fatty foods (which admittedly I've eaten more of on this diet, but not to an extreme degree—I've mostly done the egg beaters/turkey bacon/grilled meat approach).
Ah well, I liked having a cholesterol count in the 170s, but even forgoing treatment I suspect blood pressure will get me long before cardiovascular problems can emerge.

I hear that geese really like being fed until their liver expands to quadruple size. They love it, in fact.

Did you get this factoid from the same place as your 1920s chicken statistics?
shrift! Did you know there's a secret QI pilot episode? In the sense that I had no idea it existed? WITH EDDIE IZZARD?

Actually from a French farmer feeding his geese in a WSJ article years ago when they focused on the industry. I think the farmer may have had a vested interest in how the industry is perceived, however.
Not all my poultry reportage is meritless!
