Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's how we keep down the teenage pregnancy rate.

Like this?

Warning - Paradise by the dashboard lights can result in an unwanted bun in the oven.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I am pro-gravy.

And pro-french fries. (We had McD's for lunch.)

Thanks ita, since it was from CNN I didn't think about it. CNN needs spoiler warnings.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Why? People in the 70's were weird.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME CRY?!

But you're not thinking about fries any more, are you?

C Hewlett

Not right! Not right at all! (not that I'm judging your FCM).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My butter dish just committed suicide.

I was very kind to it, and understanding of its issues. I'm not sure why it has come to this.

Hmm. I am beginning to suspect that the book was complicit in the dish death. Not content to have its pages weighed down by the butter dish, while I was in the other room it took advantage of my absence and threw the dish to an ignominious death.
