Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Congratulations!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Thanks guys!

Ohioistas, stay safe from the terror snowice!

My cold is still lingering, so I took the afternoon as a sick day (since I was taking the morning to close on the apt anyway). Part of me wants to nap and part of me wants to pack. Hmmmmm.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

One of the things the Goldmans may be hoping for is to prevent him from making money off of the death of their son. Stuff like that assy book and special from not too long ago.

ETA: Way to go Jessica!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Congrats on homeownership, Jess & Fone! May it be a happy home for your family!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I swear I'm not really hear I am working very hard and not here to congratulate Jessica and Fone. Nope. Not here.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm listening to Sigur Rós in the no doubt futile attempt not to fidget myself to death while I wait to go home.

Snowmageddon still raging outside.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah. I like it too. I like coercing them along the path until suddenly they realize they self-identify as musicians, and whaddya know, they have the skillz to back it up. I like knowing when to back off and when to push. I like balancing bullying and teasing and working seriously and helping and encouraging. I like it when a totally tough boy all clad in black and chains and swagger suddenly collapses in laughter at making a mistake.

Unfortunately for me, there is no jealous, because the reason we're teaching where we are is because no one else is.

But I do it 'cause I love it.
