Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

What is even happening?

Thanks for the birthday happies. I made it through church without having to leave during a panic attack. I call that a win, thanks to my new best friend, Ativan. It was close for a moment, but a win's a win.

Kat, do you still have SARS Ebola Pneumonia Consumption Catarrh?

My college has found me, wherever I've gone, too. I don't think I've ever updated them. They even noted my name change.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Happy Birthday Cindy!

I feel all accomplished this morning since I got up early, drove to Harbor Town to fast-walk along the boardwalk for an hour, and found a station with gas for 9¢ a gallon less than everywhere else along my normal route. Where'd all this motivation stuff come from?

Happy Birthday Cindy!

That sounds like a really sound plan. How long before you move?

I take possession in 17 days and the movers move me in 24 days. I want to be mostly packed by the time I take possession so I can focus on painting and pulling up carpets while it's still empty.

I am such a lightweight. I am feeling a little rough around the edges after two shots of Pernod last night. I think the Scotches will have to be a shot a day.

Happy Birthday Cindy!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Gronk. I went back to sleep this morning after shooting up Ozzie for what I'm pretty sure was much too long.

Plus, the house elves didn't show up last night, and my apartment is still messy. WTF?

The only problem with this black bean soup is that I made it without a recipe, and once it's gone, I can never recreate it exactly the same.

And it's like black bean crack, people!

Kat, do you still have SARS Ebola Pneumonia Consumption Catarrh?

I do! it's irritating as all get out. But it's mostly just a hacking cough. Which, you know, can always be fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Am now home after a busy few hours shopping in downtown Chicago. Weirdest thing I saw? A protester holding a sign that read, "FBI agent [some guy's name] Stop raping my wife!" And then below that another sign stating that our mayor is a dictator. And they weren't just handmade signs either - they both looked professionally printed. And the word "stop" was in a little stop sign.

I was tempted to go talk to him, just out of curiosity, but was tired so I just went on to the Apple store (where I bought new in-ear earphones, a bigger external drive and a laptop sleave).

You'll never have that recipe again? Did someone leave your soup out in the rain?

What is even happening?

Yes, which is what gives it that nice, acidic bite.
