The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I went out, and ran errands, but now I'm home, and may not leave again.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sigh...I have to meet with a group tonight for a school project. That ain't right.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've noticed that my one cat that hangs on the door to let me know that it must be opened has really tightened up her formerly sagging belly. Almost inspires me to do some chin-ups myself.

Hmmm, maybe I can see if putting some catnip on the doorhandle would work for Amarna.

I had a very productive day today. Picked up goggles, nose clip, and flip-flops for the pool, underwear to replace all the holey ones I purged back in December, and two CDs at Barnes & Noble, and with all the gift cards and certificates and coupons I used, I only spent $20 altogether, and still have $10 left on the gift card for the clothes store.

Then, after all that shopping, I went over to the fitness center and did the treadmill workout that I skipped last night due to the storm. I bumped up the speed just a bit and added a minute, so I increased my distance by .9 of a mile over Wednesday's workout! All I have to do tonight is set my alarm for 7:30 so I can get over and do laps in the one hour of open-swim time they have tomorrow, from 8-9 am.

And after all that, I came home and chatted with ChiKat on the phone for a few hours! All in all, a very fun day.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

productive day here too - 2 loads of laundry, cats to vet and catfood from vet acquired, lunch with friends, mac to visit uncle, tiny grocery trip, pictures printed, food prep for tomorrow, fridge clean out, trash dumped. now to sleep.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sigh...I have to meet with a group tonight for a school project. That ain't right.

Yeah, that sucks. We did a lot of that when I was in grad school -- when people are working in the day and have classes at night (and sometimes families at home), time to meet as a group is hard to find.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Urgh. Trying to get my cardio in gear for the black belt test. T-4 weeks. Today's workout was brief. 10 minutes during which the treadmill was supposed to adjust its incline to get my heartrate near 146, but failed entirely. And then 13 minutes of me alternating between a minute at 3MPH and one at 7MPH, and then finishing up with two minutes at 7MPH (which had my heartrate handily over 160 for 14+ minutes, thank you very much, mister treadmill).

What is really irritating is that my mind is what takes me out of it--my body's more fit than my brain gives it credit for. Damned well have to get over that hump before the test comes around. And I damned well have to do two hard cardio days a week at the gym at the very least.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I didn't go out, like a lameass. Ah well

I forgot about it until an hour ago.

DH used to joke about the dogs and the cat getting us through any Y2K food emergencies.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

DH used to joke about the dogs and the cat getting us through any Y2K food emergencies.

I had a pretty successful go-round at traumatising an over-anthropomorphising friend by telling her that her dog was too dumb to eat her corpse or that of her husband, should disaster strike. And the cat may or may not wait until said dumb dog died of hunger too before digging in.

She was all horrified and defensive, and the cat would never eat the dog, blah blah.

"What are their names?"
"The dog's called Expresso and the cat is Simba."
"SEE? The dog's even named after food, and the cat after a predator."

Then somehow we switched to bestiality in Sweden, but it took her a while to stop hating me.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica
