The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

oops

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Also, HUGE wank over in SPN fandom. Did you know BNFs are terrible people and you shouldn't comment on their stories?'

Oh, as usual, dear. She's got some good points (like venturing out of one's comfort zone), but... lord.

ita, I like the sound of your outfit.

Sigh. What. Ever.

Hey! It leads to shit I didn't say! Because she's apparently Young, and I Can't Be Bothered.

Bitch, don't tell me I should "go outside my comfort zone."

Going outside my comfort zone leads to reading badfic and twitching. My comfort zone exists for a reason. Some parts of that comfort zone are BNFs, some are SNFs, most are MNFs. I like my comfort zone. Most people do. Part of being in a community is knowing which neighbors you borrow sugar from, and which ones you politely avoid.

So grow the fuck up and get over yourself, because guess what, sweetheart? It's not about you.

I don't think that's a good point. For starters, she doesn't know IF we're venturing out of it (I do make the occasional effort, but under Controlled Circumstances) and hitting the back button, and second... comfort zones exist for a reason.

At least mine does.

ETA, that came off cranky. Sorry. I'm just protective of my CZ.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I like the part where, of the BNFs mentioned, I only know three of them by name (and only one is on my flist).

...I'm not as in that fandom as I think I am, am I? Or, I'm in the nice, small, sane corner of it.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

"Whine whine OMG it's so awful that I have all of this great fic to read because people get too many comments and all of you people who leave comments on good fic are just SHEEP."

Kids these days. They keep buying diamond shoes a half-size too small and then insist on telling everyone how much they pinch.

Yes, but your CZ is much broader than mine is. I'll fully cop to being lazy and mostly reading whatever you/Consuela/Dana/shrift rec. I won't venture outside of my CZ for things like RPS or 'cest without a very solid rec, and I'm cool with that. But, say, the (HILARIOUS) Truck!Preg fic? I would never have read that without you reccing it, because my CZ includes not reading any preg stories.

So, maybe I should wander off my beaten path a little and find other stories that I never thought I'd enjoy.

Does that make sense?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I would never have read that without you reccing it, because my CZ includes not reading any preg stories.

Yeah, but that just means your comfort zone is "stories recced by people you trust". Which seems to me a perfectly fine zone to stay in, but you wouldn't believe the number of people who get all het up about it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If Ann Coulter says some stupid shit, is it worth getting upset about?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hey Robin, I wore that same wig too--well okay probably not the exact same one, but one just like that.

Also? How funny is it to come into the thread and find that everyone actually *is* discussing duct tape?
