Heh. Mine are all passed out. They freak out when I'm home on a weekday. They are up more than they are obviously used to, cause they sleep like the dead after a snow day. As in, rolling over and falling off the bed, asleep. Walnut brains. Cute, cuddly, therapy, but walnuts.

Hey, did I mention Mister Kitty tried to kill me to today? Well, not so much tried as accident. While I was listening to the radio, lying on the loveseat, and being something-pathetic, he was up on my chest and put his paws on my neck. He's 16 lbs. A lot was on the front paws, which were on my neck and I started to grey out. Kinda freaky.

Calli, my lack of regular eating hasn't result in loss, either. Honestly, I suspect my metab is screwy and only exercise would fix that. Because when I look at what I eat, it looks like a kinda tight diet. Which it isn't, deliberately.

Hell, I ate more when I swam and was losing weight. So something else it at play.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

A Thursday-night meara:

Don't forget to use your good Australian crawl technique.

I wouldn't call my crawl technique good, by any stretch of the imagination. I could never get the breathing coordinated properly, and as for kicking, well, I'm lucky if my legs get within a foot of the surface. But, I did get in the 20 laps (10 crawl, 10 backstroke), as well as seven minutes of kicking while floating on my stomach (from the hip the entire time and always on the surface, even if it wasn't fast). My butt was hating me by the final 1 1/2 laps, though.

Now I'm missing the ortanique--an orange/tangerine hybrid that's structurally more like an orange, and produces some amazing juice.

My dad sent two dozen tangerine/grapefruit hybrids called Honey Bells that are really sweet and extremely juicy for Christmas. I hope he does it again this year!

I've found that a ruby red grapefruit long about 3:00 gives me a nice jolt for the rest of the day. So much so that I am a) down to 2 diet Cokes a day as opposed to 4 and b) down 7 lbs!

Yay, Aimee!!! That's so awesome!

Cutting back (but not eliminating entirely) my Diet Coke intake has helped with my sleeping, I'm sure.

It really is helpful having a regular fruit dropoff at this job. They don't even have a candy/snack machine in this place.

After the cafeteria closes at 3:30 (which is when I usually get my mid-afternoon cravings), we've got the vending machines or nothing. Blah.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just Britneyed my hair. I'm still not sure if I like the way it looks, but it is just so much fun to cut it, and I love the way it feels all fuzzy....

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I just Britneyed my hair.

So, kinda like this? [link]

I just sent a work-related email. It's 11:15 and I'm a civil servant! This should not be happening.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Speaking of cats, Switch is 7 months old. He is as big as Elliot already. Who weighs in at 18 lbs and is giant. Elliot is a Maine Coon. Switch looks like an orange Maine Coon.
