Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But I was so happy the other day, after being asleep by 10! I need a lot of sleep.

Yes, but you are making me look worse, missy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sarameg, I'll be up long after you go to bed.

Does that help?

Shit I Didn't Say:

1. Sure, I'll go to UCLA to pick up the key.
2. Fuck you. I'm growing two new humans. I don't CARE if I never finish my thesis.
3. You smell bad!

GGGRRRRR! Why do I sense tomorrow (first day back at work) is going to SUCK big time?

eta: 4400 is the address of where I went to school for a long time. 4400 Mass Ave

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Being able to beat them like a gong doesn't help if a) they don't come over to get beaten and b) I can't unwobble long enough to do so.

I am quite tightly furious right now. And that's nothing but counterproductive.

Poor Kat.

Lee, no. Time Zones! Which is how you people are deluded into thinking I'm a morning person.

Kat, you totally need to say that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm furious at my nervous system, which is going off like a fireworks display on mute, furious at myself for freaking out about it, furious that I'm missing out on two paying classes tonight, furious that my migraine specialist is apparently still seeing her 5:08 patient so she can't call me back.

That's the tip of the fury iceberg with which I'm willing to deal today.
