The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor Kat.

Lee, no. Time Zones! Which is how you people are deluded into thinking I'm a morning person.

Kat, you totally need to say that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You poor guys. Bah, I say.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm furious at my nervous system, which is going off like a fireworks display on mute, furious at myself for freaking out about it, furious that I'm missing out on two paying classes tonight, furious that my migraine specialist is apparently still seeing her 5:08 patient so she can't call me back.

That's the tip of the fury iceberg with which I'm willing to deal today.

on the west coast.

That's the caveat. Plus neat people I actually want to talk to. Makes Kat's freakishly early morning's reasonable. I don't mind having so much done and talked about by 8 am. When it's worth it.

My mornings ARE freakishly early.

Fun fact learned today. newborns do roughtly 40% of their crying at night.

ita, I am so sorry, you poor noodle.

ita's body: BE NICE!

As I stomp around my bedroom I'm reminded, Kat, that some of the clothes you lent me don't fit--do you want them back, or what?

yep! I'll put in the box of the skinny clothes, which, at this rate, I may never wear again.

Um, not going to comment. Except to say, I'll fly out at any point you need me for a week.
