And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I also vote no plums. If you're going to add olives, I'd also add lemon zest and raisins, and nix the feta.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

If you're going to add olives, I'd also add lemon zest and raisins

Yeah, that'd work.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think the feta sounds great but I would add it in the last five minutes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My coworker (who can see my sleepy face) told me not to go to the thing tonight, and I always do what she says.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

DCistas, have there been significant weather-caused mail problems out of your area? I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off all day looking for something plaintiffs filed, and they are saying that they transmitted it to a place that was supposed to mail it out of DC on the 20th. It hasn't gotten to here, North Carolina, West Virginia or Louisiana neither. Since Tuesday. And I always think that plaintiffs lie. So what's the truth?

What is even happening?

I think Matt did the olives and feta last week, and thought it came out well.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

You know... flipping the bird becomes much more about a personal release of emotion than an expression of displeasure when one is wearing mittens.

If there's a storm in any part of the country, it frells things up for the whole system, since the planes aren't where they're supposed to be.

O'Hare had some 200 cancellations yesterday. It's our fault. Again.

Coding and Sleeping

I generally get my Internet news from two main sources, CNN and BBC. BBC leads with "Court clears Serbia of genocide" while CNN leads with "Mom wins stay for custody of Smith's body". So the verdict of the UN's top court on the issue of country's involvment in genocide vs. a delay in determining the custody of a body.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Didja' hear some Fox person said that reporters who focus on Iraq instead of Anne Nicole are "snobs"?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Not that I know of. Work and personal mail has been arriving on time, which is usually a tad bit slower than the rest of the country.
