Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I delurk for number-slutting.
Polgara, you've got snaily mail en route. Um, no actual snails were harmed.

funny, not even a name in the running when last I looked.
Seems if there's not a clear consensus, whatever new thing that was mentioned last gets it. I've stopped trying to figure it out. Well, I'm trying to stop. I'm posting about it so not quite to the zen yet.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hmmm? That was a title that came out of nowhere.

Art Crawl!!!

I found Maverick on tv. And realized that DB and James Garner remind me of each other.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The stompie who creates the thread chooses the name. They don't get many perks, so I wouldn't begrudge this one.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I finally got all of my W-2s, so I suppose I should work on my taxes. But, yeah, not this weekend.

Stompy's choice is a valid point. Lord knows they deserve a perk or brazillion. I have now achieved zen on this issue.

I have 5 W-2s and 5 1099s. I guess I should check my paystubs to see if that's all of them.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Seems if there's not a clear consensus, whatever new thing that was mentioned last gets it. I've stopped trying to figure it out.

To be fair, that one got a lot of immediate accclaim.

information libertarian

I am happy to report that due to the birth of my second child, not only do we get back all the federal taxes we paid this year, but the feds are GIVING US MONEY. Go Team Poor Breeders!

NC is rather less generous, though we still get a refund.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm hoping to make out like a bandit this year, thanks to tuition perks and withholding based on my full-year salary when I only got half. We'll see how it goes in real life.
