All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It's been a nice lazy day for me, which is good since it's my last day off for a month. I guess I should clean off the car at some point since I have to be way out in the suburbs way too early tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My super just came to my door with a new copy of some form I was supposed to fill out a while ago, after calling this morning. After posting notices on the front door. The building must be under new ownership (it's definitely being managed by the owners instead of a management company, as of a few months ago), because I KNOW I never turned this thing in last year. I actually like knowing that the owners of the building are paying attention to stuff.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Painted my nails and did the dishes.

Note to self: next time think about reversing that order. Dumbass.

How many generations removed from Strom Thurmond were the slave owners? Grandchildren? Great grandchildren? Or were they more recent descendants of his?

They found that Sharpton's great-grandfather, Coleman Sharpton, was a slave owned by Julia Thurmond, whose grandfather was Strom Thurmond's great-great-grandfather. Coleman Sharpton was later freed.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wow!

Also, I think I need to be stopped from reading Dawson's Creek fanfic which makes me cry. If Herself wrote Dawson's Creek ever, I think I would die, because something about the way she writes makes me tear up from beginning to end of anything I've ever read by her.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I had it on mute, just because I can't stand the insipid E! hosts. Kate Winslet looked great in that pale green Valentino Grecian-style dress.
