Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

How many generations removed from Strom Thurmond were the slave owners? Grandchildren? Great grandchildren? Or were they more recent descendants of his?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

They found that Sharpton's great-grandfather, Coleman Sharpton, was a slave owned by Julia Thurmond, whose grandfather was Strom Thurmond's great-great-grandfather. Coleman Sharpton was later freed.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wow!

Also, I think I need to be stopped from reading Dawson's Creek fanfic which makes me cry. If Herself wrote Dawson's Creek ever, I think I would die, because something about the way she writes makes me tear up from beginning to end of anything I've ever read by her.

I had it on mute, just because I can't stand the insipid E! hosts. Kate Winslet looked great in that pale green Valentino Grecian-style dress.

Okay, I was wrong, but there's been Beyonce, Kate Winslett, Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren, J Lo. Lots of stars already!

Looks like it's Nicole Kidman's turn to wear the ridiculous bow on the dress this year (last year, it was Hilary Swank with that big green pillowy bow).
