The coughing gets better and worse. A couple of days ago, I was coughing so much that it made me throw up a couple of times (charming, eh?), but all in all, it's okay. I'll be fine.
I WISH I was a 1940's dame so I could be pregnant and still have both stylish clothes and a gin and tonic.
Okay, thesis work? Not so fun. I just found out I deleted my outline accidentally. Luckily I printed a copy before I deleted.
Timelies all!
It is snowing like whoa here, and we have to go to the supermarket. Oh, joy.
Latest weather forecast for here is that the Giant Snowstorm o' Doom is supposed to be skirting New England mostly -- unless it changes its mind.
I find that I've mostly passed from the "Oh no, not again, when will this Winter ever leave us?" stage to the "If we can hold on just a leeetle bit more, we'll finally have Spring!" state of mind.
Clear thinking with your thesis work, Kat.
I really want to take my black belt test now. I'm done preparing. Not saying that I'm ready to pass. Just that I won't be significantly more ready in four weeks. So I want it now.
Okay, so I overslept. It looks like no church this morning and we'll be heading into the studio shortly. Or at least the SO will, while I finish prepping for the trip here.
I am grumpy about it, so I had chocolate chip cookies and Irish Afternoon tea for breakfast. It didn't make me feel better, but it did taste good. Now I have got to get going like whoah.
Oh yeah, and all the other dogs in the neighborhood are barking, but mine, who is usually so barky, nsm. I clearly lack an understanding of the importance of dog topics.
However, Josie at the Alembic is definitely still there and she's very cool and makes excellent drinks. The Alembic has an impressive selection of Scotch and Whiskey. And since they're an off-shoot of Magnolia Brewing (where I took Nora), they've got many fine beers there as well.
puts Alembic on the list
I'm supposed to be doing school work but I'm not. I'm telling myself I'm getting all the internet futzing done and out of the way first.
So relieved that Jesse made it through the night without being consumed by her bread dough!
Ha. Now she can consume her bread dough. So much better.
It is how nature intended things!

Makes sense to me....
Jesse lives! And not encased in bread dough!
Kat, I hope your thesis work is coming along well without a cough.
OK, so I got up at 7:30 and shot the cat. Then I read the paper. Then I sat in bed listening to the radio. Around 9, I fell asleep.
I got up at noon (Hey, I didn't go to bed till 2 am) and it's been snowing. Enough to cover everything with a couple inches, at minumum. It's regular snow, not slurpee. That's supposed to come later. After another couplethree more inches.
Joy.
So the question is, do I clear off the car today, knowing that ice is coming, or wait for the ice and have to deal with it before work tomorrow? Bleah. All signs point to THIS SUCKS.
