Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Swouncing

I'm trying to figure out my own little book tour: Seattle, LA, San Francisco, and then over to the east coast for Boston, New York, and Baltimore.

Allyson, it's funny - if you add in Vortex's generous DC offer, your possible future book tour looks so similar to my own USA trip (with the added bonuses of Seattle and Baltimore, of course, but other than that, it's even in the same order!).

I didn't realize Amazon finally has the book for pre-order. Whee!

I didn't either! No more international-pre-order possibilities whinings! Yay!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay Allyson! Sounds like good news to me. I say you update the champagne vessel to like, one of those fancy engraved plastic thingies they give you at weddings.

Happy birthday Kristin and Maria!

I'm glad y'all are having good days, because the mood is actually improving mine a bit.

Ahem. Middle of the country deserves some love too!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm just stoked that the firefly fans are giving me a little table space at Wondercon to put out flyers.

Nice gesture!

Allyson, I highly recommend hitting Chicago on your booktour. Erinaceous is very helpful setting up a reading.

Plus the Chicagoistas are a very fun bunch.

Especially when you get them drunk.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

oof. I didn't even know it hit Amazon. I think i need to go throw up.

I mean, it's a joyful throwing up!

Always Anti-fascist!

My mom wants one, Allyson. Especially since she knows we're in it.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What about Ann Arbor? It's midwest, has an enormous book-buying public, and is name-checked in the book (...even if not pleasantly so).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

And I have contacts through Borders Corporate in Ann Arbor. Could maybe get you a reading there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Ann Arbor relative I was escaping now has a bookstore...oh, the scenarios that come to mind...
