And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Then again, going into rehab 3 times in as many days can't look good to a family court judge, non?

Well, when the alternative is giving the kids to K-Fed....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I'm in LA. I'll go get them kids.

Hell, give em to Char. She's rasing his other two without any help.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I need some Jilli style advice, I think. I'm going bananas trying to come up with a new look.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

She's making Kevin Federline look like the stable one, which is really...something.

I need to find something to do. Maybe I'll make some spreadsheets.

What is even happening?

Relatedly, Craig Ferguson did an interesting monologue on why he won't be making jokes about Britney: [link]

I'm not positive I share his POV but it's true the video and pictures of her after she shaved her head looked pathetic and troubling rather than entertaining in a tabloid way.

I know what you mean, but I am positive I respect his point of view and am glad he's made it public. She is vulnerable, and she is (to me) a baby, and the humor to be found in her sad circumstances isn't (to me) worth it.

I'd read excerpts of his monologue, but that's the first time I heard the whole thing. I love him. I'm going to have to start TiVoing his show.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Poor thing. I kind of hope her ex is holding their kids over her head and making her go in and stay put for a full course of treatment.

yeah, apparently, he's said that if she doesn''t finish rehab, he's going to petition for full custody.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think the Britney thing is funny, but I do think the K Fed shit before was. I'm not sure where the line is.

Craig's monologue weirds me out, and I'm not sure I can put my finger on it. Maybe it's just that either you're the sort that mines other people's tragedy for humour, or you aren't. Why try and get extra points for making a banner announcing your conversion?
