bon bon, you know you're not even on the same continent as bridezilla, right? You're just working stuff out.
OK, that's good to hear. I thought people might think I was going overboard already worrying what kind of Catholic my kids may be. And Maria, don't worry about causing me anxiety-- the whole raising kids religious conversation is something already discussed and fairly agreed upon with Bob. I just meant to say that that part was not a big concern of mine as far as the parish wedding prep goes.
Bridezilla is all about, "IT'S MY SPECIAL DAY, SO CAN'T YOU JUST WALK THE POODLE DOWN THE AISLE BECAUSE HE IS MY PRECIOUS AND I'VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF IT AND DADDY, PLEASE BUY ME THE $15,000 CAKE OR MY SPECIAL DAY WON'T BE SPECIAL."
It's also about stomping on Tokyo and fighting Mothra. Or Mecha-Bridezilla.

Oh, it was though! In the homily, the priest slipped up and basically called me a lesbian.
HAHAHA! I should go back and re-edit that the
seating arrangements
at your wedding weren't hilarious.
My sister and her fiance are planning their October 5th wedding, and have sent suggestions for hotels to some of us to get ideas of which one more people would be interested in, so they can lock in the group rate. She thinks it's too early to worry about booking it, but her fiance made the good point that October is one of the big hotel-booking months in Vegas (where they live and will have the wedding), so the sooner they decide and book it, the better.

Wise man. We booked our block of rooms about 8 months out as well.

This is true. It's also running it basically uncut, which is pretty interesting.
I'm not sure, because I am a Catholic godparent, even though I am neither Catholic nor baptized. I believe I did have to agree to raise the child as a Catholic, but if that was the wish of the parents, I would do so. The godfather is Catholic, though
you can have one non Catholic godparent. My BFF is Catholic and her husband (and her husband's BFF) are Jewish. But even before they got married, she said that any kids would have to be raised Catholic.

I just watched two of them today! It's great -- as far as I can tell, the only editing is blanking out "fuck," "cunt," and anything else at that level, and blurring out naked bodies. Sweet.
AND I just filed my taxes! Yay! Although, I kind of thought I would be getting more money back (due to working fulltime only half of the year, and the tuition tax credit stuff), which makes me worry I'm not withholding enough from my job. Something to look into, I guess.
