Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Our wings are not tired.

That was helpful more up to date info Maria. I was married in the Catholic Church in 1973. The most memorable part of the sessions before was the priest telling me that it was my "obligation" to have sex with my husband. He was given no such instruction! We both laughed and laughed about that. All in all it was no biggee. Stuff that people ought to think about and discuss beforehand I suppose.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

In the Jewish religion, both the husband and wife have the obligation to have sex. Or at least that's what I learned from Yentl.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He doesn't need to be told, if you know what I mean and I think you do.

My parents have been sent off, phew! Now I should really do laundry and errands, but it's so cold out!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Happy birthdays to arliss and Benno!

Happy anniversary, kat and lori!

You're welcome, bon. One thing I forgot to mention is that Bob will probably have to promise at some point that he will do his best to raise any children in the faith, as a condition of marrying in the church. They'll also make a big deal about being "open" to children. If it's an issue for one or both, you'll need to figure out how you're going to deal with it with the priest. There will also be "special counseling" since the two of you live together. It adds to the eyerolly.

Edited for clarity since the U.S. Council of Catholic Bishops has seen fit to put the question of raising children in the faith on to the Catholic spouse-to-be, and not the non-Catholic one, as it had been previously.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

11:30 here, and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my day. So far I've managed to bring Quicken up to date and also get dressed. Unfortunately, the omnipresent sinus headache has returned from a short recess.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yep, Chinese New Year is today. Gawd, the parades in San Francisco were fun....

I got woken up a lot this weekend by the fireworks. Mmmm, fireworks.
