Ok. Homework done. One day late, but done anyway.

See! MySpace is Eeevil!
Hey, it put me back in touch with an old friend I'd lost contact with. Though he, various Buffistas, and that Tom guy are the only people enabled as my friends so far.
I was able to google what I hope was the correct e-mail address for a former bookstore manager of mine whom I'm hoping will give me a reference for the MLS program. It was a yahoo address that I got from his high school alumni contact list.
Mmmmmmmmmm Fernet. Kinda like Mmmmmmmmmm Cookies or M'Fashnick.
You made it into the Fernet, huh?
Who, us?
The act of actually going and getting the people that are being rounded up.
Relocation? Seems too benign. Most of the words I'm coming up with are more about after the rounding up: internment, detainment, containment.
I'm sure the Germans had a specific compound word for it.
I don't remember much of my complex dreams last night, but one of the few things I do is someone telling me that against all expectation, Anna Nicole Smith's baby was actually fathered by Zsa Zsa's husband. Brain, it's not like I actually care about it, you know? Why are you obsessing about the case against my very will?
Bad brain! Really now, you can give Theo much more interesting dreams!
And I drive a VW. The engine's all encased in plastic and changing the headlights needs a professional and 15 minutes.
A woman co-worker and I changed the headlight in my Jetta that had gone out. I had bought 2 figuring it made sense to change them both at the same time. It took us half a day because we were too hard headed to give up and take it to the dealer. Changing a bulb should not be so crazy difficult! The second bulb is in the trunk waiting for it to actually die because we decided not to spend another half day for a light that still worked. Annoying.
So far as I know I don't have any Holocaust deniers in my circle of friends and family. I don't even know how I would handle that. I hope to never have to deal with that level of ignorance.
Actually, it's not coincidence. Goldens are prone to cancer; my sister's last two dogs, both goldens, died of cancer. When she took the second one to the canine oncologist, she was told that Thursdays, which were chemo day, were known at the clinic as "Golden Day".
I didn't know that. One of my sister's Golden's had cancer, but she was 14, so it wasn't an really an untimely death. She had always been an awfully lumpy dog, but most of those tumors were benign.
My mother really wants me to get a dog when I move into my hosue, but I think it would be too difficult without a car. What would I do with the dog when I went out of town, and even if I did board it somewhere, how would I get it to the kennel? (I don't know of any in town.)
