which is why I thought: Natter 5 Gold Rings to Rule them all and in the Darkness Bind Them was kind of snarky fun.
But we already used 9 for Mortal Men Doomed to Natter. (or whatever.)

We Got Funding!
Could someone tell me why 'We Got Funding'? Because I might like it, if I knew where it came from.
"I KNEW this would happen if the bitch ever got funding!" -- Spike re The Initiative.
"I KNEW this would happen if the Bitches ever got funding!"
And maybe if the proposed title had been something "the bitch got funding" I might have liked it marginally better -- "We got funding" has always always struck me as far too obscure and not at all memorable or funny. And no, we didn't exactly agree to it on WX -- it was proposed, there was some support for it, and then there was a poll and it lost.
t /equally pissy and always hated the name
How about a different quote from the same line, then?
'Spike's Bitches 2: I knew this would happen'.
Or 'we', it's doesn't matter.
"We got funding" has always always struck me as far too obscure and not at all memorable or funny.
Plus 'got funding' makes me think "got milk?"
Somehow my memory actually thought we were going to use "The Bitches got funding" for the first thread when we got here then we stayed with Snarkness because it was so new.
Plus 'got funding' makes me think "got milk?"
That's what I thought it was 'til it was explained. I just went back to World Crossing looking for the origins, but got caught up in the old discussion on sending the September 11, 2001 posts to the Smithsonian.
