Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In all seriousness, things have passed because we made a list of things a lot of us wanted and then voted on them, not just because we're lemmings.

Oh, of course. You people aren't NEARLY lemming-like enough. This whole thing could have been a lot smoother, let me tell you.

Also? I had nearly forgotten all about O-Town.

it's a hell of your own making.

Hey, I signed on for NSYNC. No one ever told me I was gonna be deluged with O-Town by association.

In news that actually belongs on this thread, I'm a big fan of the proposer composing the ballot. How much would it suck to propose something and discover that ballot didn't cover what you had wanted it to?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I kinda think being showered with parking spaces would hurt. But I'll take the other stuff.

If I only had a brain...

They're virtual parking spaces. Like portable holes. You just pull one out of your pocket whenever you need it.

(Duuuuuuuuuude.)

Wouldn't it be easier if your car folded up into a palm pilot? (Jetson-like.) IJS.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

I know of Sartre, but I didn't know of "No Exit" or that he wrote it. "Like Sartre, Only Longer" is Googleable, making us look clever instead of random. It's a good play on the first thread title and just as short. I want it.

Sure looks like letting the proposer write the ballot will solve the problem of runoffs. Sweet.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

"Like Sartre, Only Longer" is Googleable, making us look clever instead of random.

(Sometimes, very rarely, on Odd Thursdays in Months With No R, I am clever.)

(Signed, came up with that one, but fine with No Exit, which was what I was thinking of in the first place, because really? Hell? It's so totally other people. I mean, duh.)

Part of why I like "Like Sartre, Only Longer" is it just seems the natural progression from "Like Kafka, Only Funnier."

Thanks for all the fish.

And the third thread could be "Like Minear, Only Bloodier".
