Oh, and something past Natter 100 will have to be "Will You People Never Shut Up?" But not till then.

Bureaucracy 1: Like Kafka, Only Funnier
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.
Current Stompy Feet: ita, Jon B, DXMachina, P.M. Marcontell, Liese S., amych
I'm with Burrell (if you couldn't tell). But it's just a thread title.
I'm partial to (and bias towards):
Bureaucracy 2: Striking While The Irony Is Hot
Are we running out of Stompies? Do we need to recruit?
I think the main issue is having all the time zones covered. Perhaps if we could find someone to fill John H's shoes, but I think there are several East and West Coast stompies to cover victor and jengod.
BTW, let me thank those three for their lovely stomping, for stomping in all sorts of capacities, and for doing it with such well manicured feet.
If we are low on stompies I can pitch in. Emergency white font duty or whatever.
eta: DX, Jon and amych are same time zone as me, so probably not real helpful here.
10% is not enough! Recruit! Recruit! Recruit!

Bureaucracy II: No Exit.
Duuuuude.
What does one need in a stompy? Knowledge of anything besides "how to spoiler font"? Obviously some trustworthiness. Being around a fair bit, helpful...but...??
I'd volunteer, but I suspect that after my job review in the next month, i'll be having to go daytime dark-gray, so...probably not a good plan.

All of that's good. A fair amount of patience is essential, and the ability to differentiate between when to intervene and when to just let nature take its course when people are being idjits in the threads.
Frankly, the job entails very little, except for the really intense periods when it entails a Hell of a lot.
It's like that Kenny Rogers song, really.
