So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'd like to see BaBB and Voting swap spots. Seems like voting should be right under Kafka.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Whitefont possibly needed for post 4665 in Buffy? (I'm not spoiled, so I don't know if that's a spoiler, but I really wish I hadn't read that.)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

In context, it looks like speculation. I don't want to white font it because then everyone will assume it's a spoiler, when I'm pretty sure it's not.

It seems to be spec.

Although I freaked for a moment when folks started talking about a spoiler she had posted. Then I realized it was about something else (the contract of a particular character).

Yeah.

Dude, I'm spoiled. I see spoilers from Peeps I know are spoiled? I'll call them on it, come hell, high water, and semi-flaming.

What I'm saying, you pure-hearted-unicorn-bait-virgin-goombas, is that I've got your back.

Also, that wine is nice, and I think sobriety is overrated.

Oh, and that Lent and I may have broken up.

Thanks, Plei. You're a peach. We are as goooooods. t edit And I just realized that that comment was sorta spoilery (in a non-NAFDA way). Heh.

Ah, Jon, I love you all, too.

Consider my spoiled state taking one for the team and loving it. Err, or something.

But nah, spoilers do not pass go or collect $200 on my watch, damn it.

Wash: Um, can we take a vote on the murdering people?

Heh. Hehehehehehehe.

I'm for making the slugs shorter and leaving it at that, because it seems to be the simplest solution.

Hi folks.

I want to apologize for the ill feelings I stirred up Thursday night with my posts. Whatever point I was trying to make was not worth all the hassle it caused. I must've had a bug up my butt about this war and took my anger and frustration out on you people. I'm hoping that nothing I said was taken by anyone as a personal attack, but what I said was certainly taken by some as an attack on this board's culture and history, and for that I'm sorry. Please convey my apologies to anyone who stopped reading this thread because of the rancor I helped cause Thursday.

I've stepped back and taken a day away from the board and now I find I really don't care as passionately as I seemed to on Thursday.

On the grandfathering issue, I concede. All decisions made in the past by consensus are OK with me, and the waiting period applying to each of them is fine with me, too. Y'all can still vote on it if there remains enough opposition to make it worth putting in on the ballot, but all opposition from this corner is withdrawn. Either way, I'm abstaining from the vote.

And yeah, that means I'm accepting the war thread as dead. Wolfram, I'm sorry if this makes you feel like what little support you had is deserting you, but at least to me, it seems like time to throw in the towel. Well past time, actually. I won't withdraw my seconding of the war thread should it ever be allowed to be put on a ballot, but don't count on my support or my vote from here forward. Sorry, man. I know you care a lot about this.
