Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

There's no reason we can't futch with the times between discussion and voting and let it all happen at a good time for the people who are going to post the ballot in press, Sophia.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

but did we ever make a decision about discussing multiple proposals at once?

I think the only way it makes sense is if we don't. I don't really see us ever having so many things to decide that we'd need to overlap, and if we do have something time-sensitive it can be moved up on the list if it has to.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It seems to me Sophia's proposal should go all the way through the process and discussion (on that item) should close and go to a vote before another topic can get discussed there.

I'm not sure I like the idea of one proposal bumping another. But since the thread can be reopened as soon as the other goes to a vote, it's only a four day hold. I can live with that.

True. I don't think anyone's going to be upset if the discussion time is 4 days + 4 hours. We can open discussion now, and leave all the other start/end times the same.

Let's institute some bullshit consensus on that one, can't we? It's how we've been operating. We've been taking one issue at a time. The issue might spawn mulitiple questions, but first we did voting. Then we did whatever that last thing was. Now we're talking on closing issues.

Thrive to spite them

I was going to ask something else but I'll just wait.

But it's not -- Sophia's is the only one with enough seconds.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I agree with Jess-- let's start the discussion now, and keep the ther times the same.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Sophia's is the only one with enough seconds.

Agreed.

Also, even tho I'm one of the agitators for the war thread, I think that the other issue needs to be resolved first.
