Sumi, the reason to vote for a minimum number even if you don't want to vote for seconds is so that, if it passes, you can at least participate in coming up with a number. If it doesn't pass, then the second part of the vote won't matter, and if it does pass, don't you want to help ensure that the minimum number is at least acceptable to you?

So, did it then not accept my entire ballot so I have to go back and vote for everything again?

Also, I'd be happier with progressive voting.

The thing is driving me nuts because if I skip a question, rather than telling me to fill out all answers it first says you must have a number between x and x on this question - - when I hit the back button it takes me back to Press rather than the ballot.

So I went back and voted No Preference on everything.

Sumi, I don't know what's going on with your actual ballot, but I do know that they all just get emailed to Laura, so you could email votes@buffistas.org, or just email Laura, to say what you want to vote.

Interesting. That's a browser issue for which I was unaware. When I tested it, "back" always took me back to the ballot. I'll have to fix that next time.

No, it gave me one message then it gave me the second when I went back. . . maybe because it took me back to Press and I wound up with a blank ballot.
