OK, I think I've got the ballot working and the validations in. Could a few people test it out? It temporarily sends the votes to my email so they won't get accidentally counted as real votes.

I think this needs to be re-worded, because it sounds a bit like we are only counting EITHER yes or no votes. Of course, I can't seem to reword it so it doesn't sound like I am biased against it. All I can come up with is "you want only votes that make an actual choice"

Looks good, Jon. I just cast a test ballot, and it looks like it's working properly. Upon submitting the ballot I got the "ballot cast" message on an otherwise blank template.

I was trying to do that, but failed. If someone can word it out in the next half hour, I can change it, but I think it's pretty clear as is.

I realize that some future votes may have two options other than "yes" and "no", but this is clear enough for now, don't you think?

Choose the minimum number of community members you think should have to vote on any item in order for the vote to count. If fewer than this minimum number vote on a particular item, then that item will have failed to pass regardless of the percentage of votes in favor. If you vote yes, you would allow people to register their vote as a "No Preference" ?that is, with no preference for either choice ? and that vote would count toward the minimum number needed to make the vote valid.

If you vote no, you want only votes that prefereither yes or no to count toward the minimum number of voters needed to make the vote valid

Irrespective of this question, votes of "no preference" never count either for or against the majority needed to pass a proposal.
