Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I think if voting has been announced, we can't change the item. But we could add a note that voting yes closes discussion after the 3rd (or is it 4th) day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

At this point, I don't care either way. So Lyra Jane's addition is fine by me.

If we can amend 4 like that I'm in favor of it. Have we announced text as a final version? Ah checking press, the wording was only announced as a draft. So we can modify.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Formal voting hasn'y been announced and won't be until midnight.

We announced the proposal (which propsed voting), but are up for revisions up to midnight tonight.

This is really confusing.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is really confusing.

We're okay. We can keep the polls open on this first go round to make sure everybody is enfranchised. People have to get used to the idea of voting.

If 4 gets shot down, then we just come back and find a date range that feels fair. If #1 gets rejected, then it's mass chaos and anarchy.

So anyone else want to weigh in on

1) whether we extend the voting period in this announcement or later if needed.

2) whether we change the wording on #4 to Lyra's.

Yes. Let's cut down on the confusion and extend it through the weekend. That is through Sunday night until it hits midnight and becomes Monday.

whether we change the wording on #4 to Lyra's.

I think that's fine.

Thank youthat is pretty much how I feel, too.

Thanks for keeping track of all this, Sophia. You already earned your medal a longtime ago, but you're still like the class secretary.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

OK, draft ballot is here: [link]

Can a couple people try it out? Right now it sends the email to me, but I'll change it in a bit once I'm convinced it's working correctly.
