Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Our wings are not tired.

I asked before, but it was lost in the mass of posts -

Are there any optimal settings that individual users can set that might help with bandwidth or other crashing issues? Right now I have 20 posts per page and a 0 refresh. I use threadsuck often.

Posts per page? Refresh? Avoid using search engine for now?

As much as I enjoyed fun with pictures, I would prefer to stay here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've closed down NAFDA, Projects, Literary, and Bitches.

Search is down, for the nonce. I think that's a big factor. I'll change the code to disallow refreshes more frequent than every five minutes.

But not today. Much like policy discussions, I need to back off the innards for a sec.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

But not today. Much like policy discussions, I need to back off the innards for a sec.

You done good, Ms. Ita. You done real good.

"...and that calls for some hard-hitting, potentially violent SCIENCE!"

Being on WX for the first time today, let me add my deep appreciation for the setup here & for Ita's saving the (virtual) world.

There are not words, nor treasures enough, to bestow upon ita.

Disaffected college student

ita, like Coke, is it.

After I saw the "we are back" post, it took me a good two minutes to figure out why I wasn't seeing the site back up--I was reloading the "site down" page.
