Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What's the Beatles one?

Natter 9 ... Natter 9 ... Natter 9 ...

Or something like that.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm having a Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel moment in completely not getting that as a Beatles reference. Though I have no objection to it as a thread title, and certainly have no suggestions of my own.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Natter 9 ... Natter 9 ... Natter 9 ... Or something like that.

Ah, ok.

Nah, I prefer the menagerie.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So is Natter 9 the final answer?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Prince will get you all.

When you least expect it.

Eventhough all the talk about rules and meta issues gets tedious it's better that we do it than not.

Though I don't natter, it really is the heart of the Buffistas now. And it's important to acknowledge that fact and change the definition paragraph in the "About this Site".

For various reasons, interest in and extreme love for the shows that originally brought us all together are dying.

The shows will eventually go away, more sooner than later, and then what? Most people who don't natter will wander off anyway. Personally, it will suck for me but I don't want to try and change the community and promote thread proliferation just because I can't natter, yet still want to be a Buffista.

If Buffista is to be all about natter, the the two big natter threads, the main one and Spike thread, are what will keep the community going.

And as Kat said, they must be tended to and protected. Everyone must be committed to it. Natter is what will last. I think that if thread proliferation hurts that, then hard decisions must be made.

We can't keep holding on to the good old days. And we can't go back or tell Joss not to post so new people don't show up. Everything changes. All we can do is move forward.
