Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Safe space also moved the politics out, so YSMV.

I don't feel comfortable in there bringing up something that I know some people will disagree with, and I don't feel comfortable disagreeing with something that someone else posted, because it seems like that would be disturbing the "safe" conflict-free atmosphere.

Or it could help clarify a matter that someone else can't articulate.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

That was me being cranky and wondering if I'd wandered into natter by mistake.

I mean, it was largely a me thing. Bitches is bigger and less intimate, and my illness is making me pouty.

Wow. I'm really unhappy with the idea that you've been made to feel like you have to shut up about something because it's not a popular opinion. When we're having a conversation (my feeling on the subject is), every Bitch's opinion ought to have equal airing space. I never knew you felt we weren't encouraging free discussion, and my hope is that you're able to feel free to speak in the future.

Bitches is bigger and less intimate,

Um, *do* you mean Natter?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I guess it's that I've seen things like "guys, can you please not fight here?" or things like that (not just in Bitches, but also in Natter) at times when I thought the discussion was just starting to get interesting, so I've pretty much decided that my line between discussion and argument is much higher than others', and I don't want to be the person being told to stop fighting. Which I'm aware is my issue.

Nope. I meant Bitches. It's larger, faster (normally more posts there than Natter when I've been gone for a while), and less cozy than it used to be.

Change happens.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

We're gonna need a natter nine. I think the only suggestion so far has been the Beatles one; am I correct? I'd hate us to be the renamer what renames at midnight, but...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yes, but what if your real opinion is (mine isn't) that depression is something caused by a person's lack of motivation and you feel that if those of us bitches who are depressed just got off our butts and did something, we would get better. And you reeeaaaly want to hel us. All of the sudden Bitches wouldn't be safe for a whole bunch of people if you expressed your opinion enough.

I like the Beatles one, and I haven't seen anyone saying they didn't like it. I'd say we go for it, unless someone comes up with a convincing arguement for why we shouldn't.
