Okay, here's a quick shot at them.
Slug: Movies and Oscars and Foamies --oh my! The Buffistas go Hollywood.
Description: A place to talk about anything from the classics to current cinema, as well as the central spot for the Buffista Movie awards. And watch for the Mighty Oscar Watch-n-Post in March.
We should also work out (oh please god no more) whitefont rules for the Movies thread.
I vote we whitefont plot details until two weeks after wide release, like the Ovies forum does.
I for one will not be devoting precious memory space to figuring out the exact date that I can stop white fonting the other show. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm fine with not white fonting Angel in Buffy and vice versa, don't get me wrong, I'm just saying we can debate all we want about the right "date" for episodes to fall out of spoiler font, but I don't think it'll matter. We either white font or we don't. Figuring out dates will quickly become to cumbersome to remember, unless it is clear and straightforward, like Saturday midnight EST the week the show airs.
Two weeks like Ovies seems fair.
I like those, Lyra, though I half wonder if we shouldn't mention the hobbits.

The hobbits have their own thread. They'll be okay.

I'd like it if we whitefonted major plot twists at least until the film goes to video. I mean, it's no big surprise the leads in a romantic comedy are gonna end up together -- but it might take me more than 2 weeks to see a thriller, and I really don't want to stumble across the information that the protagonist is also the murderer or whatever. But that may just be me.

The hobbits are in good hands

Edit: Yes, I'm slow, but work gets in the way...
The tape delayed really need to chime in with the ideal time period.
The weekend is too short for me. Typically when basketball delays Buffy it re-airs Sunday at noon. Or, UPN will say it re-airs Sunday at noon, but instead it airs Saturday at 2. Which I will find out, Sunday at noon, and, like I am doing right now, have to scramble for a local tape. I can't watch tonight's until I watch that tape, etc., etc. In addition to which, Angels airs Wednesday night; that leaves a total of two days to get the tape. My strong vote is a week (if not two).
