I always thought the Firefly thread was still open out of sympathy for those of us (myself included) who don't deal well with reality.

Bureaucracy 1: Like Kafka, Only Funnier
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

Pardon, all, but I'm hijacking the thread for a moment.
Is there a protocol for starting a regional Buffista mailing list? I'd like to start one for the Baltistas/DCistas if there isn't one already. Should I create a list over at yahoogroups and announce it in Press, or would it be better to suss out everyone's interest and then create the list?
t returns thread to its original course
I'd sign up for a DCista mailing list.
And for the next thread, how about "The Natter That Ate Sheboygan"? (Or some other city. Maybe LA, in honor of this year's megaF2F?)
Stompies can hook you up with a local mailing list.
I vote: Natter 8: I Forget What 8 Was For...
Yes. This. So I can continue my earworm.
I'm still in love with "I forget what 8 was for..."
And Natter Ten really must be For EVERYTHING EVERYTHING EVERYTHING!
Mmm. Femmes.
I like the VF title for Natter 8
In other news, my co-worker was in a semi-punk band for a while. His wife works at a daycare center. One day, she brought in a bunch of books that were for the center. One of these was "Elmo Loves You."
He discovered that the text of this book could be sung to "Killing in the Name of..." I'll have to see if he can download the recording onto the computer one of these days.
I vote for "I forgot what 8 was for.." as a thread title.
Oh, and I'd join a Baltimore/DC Buffistas mailing list, FWIW.
How about,
Natter 8: Because we have fucking nattered away 7 threads already
I think- because I've been told this in the past- that you'll be pulled up for using 'fucking' in that, Schmocker. No swear words in thread titles to make them work-freindly, I believe.
