Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sometimes about the show, but there's an unofficial holding pattern, waiting for the final final finallest of words. Which hasn't come down yet.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But it's over.

But it's not. Three episodes yet to air.

Should we cancel the Farscape thread too since it's over?

Should we cancel the Farscape thread too since it's over?

(1) I was just asking out of curiosity, not any incipient desire to see the thread boarded up and condemned. Which I thought I made clear.

(2) I also said sure, since we have a backstory thread for Buffy S1-6, it makes sense that people still want to talk about Firefly.

Where was that not clear?

Don't get snippy with me, Missy. It was a logical question and I couldn't see where your disconnect was coming from. Thread's wind up creating their own vibes separate from the shows (like Due South - also cancelled), and Firefly drew it's own crowd that still wants to talk. I wasn't challenging you - just drawing the most obvious comparison. Both Firefly and Farscape have been cancelled but they both have shows in the can. Same situation.

I just asked the question before I thought it all the way through. I grok. It's like Backstory -- I understand why we discuss old seasons, even though they're OVER. I just didn't think it all the way through with Firefly.

And I was curious, really. That's the only reason I asked.

Cool?

Of course. I wouldn't say "don't get snippy with me" if we weren't cool to start with.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

We're closing "Goodbye and Good Riddance" this weekend, right? Has everybody gotten their prezzies?

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

And, lest we skip over the most crucial aspect of the Legend of Allyson and Kristen, they're important because they know me. It's part of the Monique Vibe.

The Monique Mystique?

Anyway, I vote for all threads that possibly can, to be named after Violent Femmes songs.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Have we had discussions for Natter 8 already?

Something like "Natter 8 My Workday"?
