I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's controlled on a browser basis. It's not anything you set on the board. I have no clue about Mozilla, so I can't tell you exactly where to do it.

Up with the sun

I have the same problem, and I didn't find a way to fix it thru the browser on IE. I just set the font size to smaller. User-set fonts are on the list of future features, IIRC.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Java, the size and font are hardwired into the code. In Mozilla you can override this by going to edit>preferences>appearance>fonts and unchecking the box that says "allow documents to use other fonts." Then the pages will display in whatever you've set as default in preferences. This also means that every page you view on the whole WWW will also use only your preferences.

Another possible solution. One reason that it looks so big is that the default font for the board is set to Verdana, which is designed to look huge. If you uninstall Verdana from your list of fonts, the pages will display in your default font, without having to uncheck the ""allow documents to use other fonts." This would let the Phoenix display at a more reasonable size, while not interfering with other sites where you may want to use their choice of font.

ETA: I just did this, AIFG!

ETFA: Well, not really, unless you like Ariel (or Helvetica), I guess, which are also specified in the stylesheet. If it were up to me, the font face would be dropped from the stylesheet so we could use whatever face we wanted.

For Mozilla, you can change font size using View->Text Zoom
