Ack, John, that's QUITE scary. Er. I have no idea how to help, but let's do look into it...

I tracked down the tool that lets you see if and how you're listed by SmartFilter: [link] and we're just listed under "Entertainment, Chat", which is kind of dismissive but fine.

Perhaps we should take it as a coming-of-age thing. We're not just a good place to chat, we're officially a good place to chat; so much so that people should be discouraged...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, good one.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Websense still doesn't know who we are, which is nice. And they think worldcrossing is IT.

Heh.

buffistas.com isn't listed. It just forwards to .org, but would that help at all?

I can't replace the "org" in the address with "com" and keep browsing with "com" in place, though it does very helpfully reinterpret the whole URL, not just dump me at the front page.

It's not a problem for me, but I thought everyone should know.

The real irony is that I was coming here for help with work. I wasn't even going to log in, just do a quick search. A question was answered in Buffistechnology which was asked here at work, about CSS, so I came here to get the answer.

Up with the sun

I had the same problem for the first three months we were here, but buffistas.org recently got unblocked. But they blocked snopes.com and obscurestore.com on practically the same day. Hmmmph.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Christ. Snopes is what I always used at work to get people to stop freaking every time someone sent them a virus hoax. I'd call that work related.
