I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Whitefonting once isn't a big deal. Whitefonted conversations are incredibly irritating to participate in, so I don't.

If people stop white-fonting in NAFDA threads about other shows, I will have to leave the Firefly thread. I'm on a tape delay for both Buffy and Angel.

If it's too much of a pain to white font for at least two weeks, then, well, bye guys.

I guess I don't mind the white font at all and I don't know when I'm supposed to use it or not, so I just use it whenever I have a question aboaut whether or not it is appropriate.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Personally I always live by "when in doubt, white it out"

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's just the Buffy and Angel threads I was worried about. Firefly has enough unAmericans that whitefonting there all the time for all of 4/7 makes sense. I just wanted a set period after which it would be okay to discuss Angel in Buffy, and Buffy in Angel, but it looks like the Atlantic Canadians are going to be on a one-week Angel Delay, so I give up until if or when it becomes an issue.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

so I give up until if or when it becomes an issue.

I'm with Plei on this. If it ever does become an issue, it'll be glaringly obvious, so we can re-evaluate then.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I agree, and I appreciate the consideration that lets me, on tape delay, read and post happily.

Actually, Plei, hopefully we will only be a day behind (which is how things are now), and not a week, if Space has their act in gear.

Up with the sun

A two or four-week delay totally makes sense because it can take that long to get and watch a tape. But whitefonting things from October, NSM. I agree with Katie that whitefonting everything makes it hard to hold a conversation. OTOH, whitefonting is not the hugest pain in the world or anything. So I guess I'm really neutral on this one.
