Kaylee: Captain seem a little funny to you at breakfast this morning? Wash: Come on, Kaylee. We all know I'm the funny one.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Duh. Got it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Corrected.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Yay.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I want Buffistas to be an asshole-free zone. I need one of those BADLY.

Too late. Some of us are already here.

I actually advocate an Assholes Thread. Whole-heartedly. I wouldn't mind a place at all where I could come in and scream COCK-SMOKING GOAT-DEFILING JELLYFISH-FUCKERS WHO FELCH RANDOM RABID GERBILS AND LOVE THE TASTE OF ROTTING SEMEN without somebody getting all pissy and whiny about it.

Perhaps that's just me.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Dude, MM, that's what Bitches is for.

But only if you're describing your cramps. Otherwise we'd mock the ASS CAPS.

Where should a disclaimer go? I'm agreed we should be putting one up post-haste, as the lovely Liese suggests, I'm just less certain what's the best place for it.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

We're spending a ton of time on a disclaimer for people who don't "get it" from the name of the site and the "A community..." blurb. Which is all to say I think Holli's note should be under the "A community..." blurb.

How has registration been in the last couple days?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

FAQ question...

If you're looking for fanfiction in general, you might want to visit Fanfiction.net or the Buffy Fiction Archive.

First, do we want to make the BfA a live link, and second, do we want to keep the horror that is ff.net in there?

Shawn, from a quick look, it looks about normal. DX would be able to tell you more.

DXMachina - Jan 06, 2003 5:43:58 am PST #2694 of 10001
You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

DX would be able to tell you more.

ita has better information, though, because she can look directly at the database. Based on the system messages, we had 3 on Thursday, 9 on Friday, 12 on Saturday, and 3 yesterday. Friday and Saturday were the two biggest days for new users since Christmas Eve.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

What was the average number of new registrations per day, before Joss posted?
