Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

This is the same big debate that the pancakequistas had in the WX/Atlantic split.

I don't have a problem skipping and skimming in Natter either. In fact, I skip and skim in all threads (read only day of or day after new show airings in show threads) cause natter there bothers me for some reason. I use the search function constantly to find specific topics in all threads. I like Literary and I guess music and movies are really no different. I think we should re-think our Welcome page info then, cause this isn't really just a place to discuss ME shows, in fact, ME show threads might be outnumbered soon. It is a place that generated out of discussion ME shows.

also? How long will the TTT thread stay open? At some point won't it just become natter?

Even though I don't like leaving Natter to discuss books (and music and movies), I actually see the wisdom in having threads for books, music, and movies. Because ME shows -- our purported raison d'etre -- might not exist next year.

Then we're just a bunch of people who like to talk to each other. (Which is actually a good enough reason for me.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Don't say it! You'll make me cry!

It is, however, possible. I also have a great bucket of wrodcakes for what Hec said about conversations across different time zones.

Sorry, but it may well be true.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Doubtful, since it'll be in theatres for a few more months, and then we'll be waiting for the DVDs, and then RotK, and then the RotK DVDs. That topic's got another year and a half of life in it at least.

I have a feeling we'll end up with both a Movies and a Music thread, and that we'll end up enjoying them in spite of any general distaste for thread proliferation. FWIW.

I know, I know. I just have this thing where if you say it, it will be truer. Also, if you say 'oh, ME shows will go on forever' they won't. Best not to mention it, in fact. Stuff like this makes my head explode.

t /natter

Yeah, let's have a music thread. We can call it: "Hec's Bitches: Our Disks Spin Around and Explode".

Ah, thank you ita! I've been looking for something like that. Too many cool things to refer back to and no way to find them.
