Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I think it may have come from MBTV originally, though I'm not sure.

Nobody

MBTV/TWoP definitely used it in their Wrecked recap, but I think fans were saying it fandom wide, even before then. I know I've seen it far beyond Buffista shores.

No no, I mean I think it started on the MBTV boards, back in S4. Doesn't really matter, though.

Do people feel it needs explaining? Like I say, it's almost never used without some example which should allow you to pick it up implicitly.

Oh, and the thing about the medals has come up in Natter because of my wedding photo, a couple of times now, and I feel terrible not being able to say "The other people who have them are..." and "The people who designed and made them are..." when it comes up. Should that be in the FAQ, or can someone Nilly up any kind of official post about their being awarded?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Should that be in the FAQ

At the risk of seeming self-serving, I think something could be in the FAQ, maybe with a scan of the medal. If someone writes something up, I'll stick it in.

(And I loved seeing the medal in your photo John! I don't keep up with natter, and I'm sure you've been publicly admired by dozens of Buffistas already, but I wanted to add my name to the list)

Here's a link to Hec's account of the creation of the medals:

and, Natter, but thanks Jon. I couldn't be prouder of my medal, and I wanted a few wedding pics wearing it. Even on the ones where I'm not wearing it, it's in my pocket. And thanks to Elena B for reminding me!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Sorry for the natter, but John, where can I find your wedding photos?

At home on the table. There's just the one online at [link] but I promise I'll have a little website up by the weekend.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

At home on the table.

Anyone willing to take up the challenge? "Your mission, Jimi, should you choose to accept it..."
