When we're suggesting thread titles, observed behaviour is that anything goes. And I like it, though I think I prefer:
Dude, Where's My Ring 2: Electric Hobbitaloo
Although I'm also playing with
Austin Towers: The King Who Shagged Me
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

Thanks, Jon.
[Edit: I mostly liked the 'Dude, Where's My Ring 2' part, and I was afraid it was rude to quote Madrigal lover-threads like that]
[Another Edit: what DXM will just say in the next post.]
I do like "Dude, Where's my Ring?" but without the hobbitaloo part.
Have we decided to have a thread? If we do, regardless of the title, I think that the blurb should read
Aragorn is still not King, Legolas is still the prettiest, and Sam will kill you if you try anything.
Have we decided to have a thread?
I think there was fairly general agreement, and then we started having thread titles. Which keeps in the 'possible' stage.
How about:
Dude, where's my Ring: I'm in Morder Now and It's Fucking Great
or
Dude, where's my Ring:sex, lies, and hobbits
We don't want profanity in thread titles. Filtering issues.
Fair enough- that puts mine out of the running then.
I had this for my tagline back at WX:
I think it should be renamed "Dude, where's my precious?" -- anonymous response to petition to rename "The Two Towers" movie
"Dude, Where's My Precious" is perfect.
I'm in favour of 'Dude, where's my precious?' too.
