What do folks think about posts trying to sell things? For example, I have a laptop for sale, and I'm about to eBay it, but really, I'd rather just sell it to someone I know. Should I post about it in Press, or will that set a bad precedent for turning Press into a big classified ad?

Why not cross the bridge when it becomes a problem. I see no difference in posting about your sale than some of the other stuff in there. No duh I'm a future litigator rather than transactional attorney.
