Fred: The size and depth of the wound indicate a female vampire. Harmony: Or gay! Fred: Um…it doesn't really work like that.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

There's been an interesting discussion going on since yesterday in Bureaucracy, inspired by this article.

The talk starts here.

No one is proposing that we change anything about this place! It's more an academic discussion than anything.

Bay Area events, continued:

A gaggle of Buffistas are going together to see JZ's play on the last night, July 12th. We're planning to dine together somewhere beforehand. Please join us! Either e me or move to F2F to work out details.

Also, support our finest theater of political comedy: [link] (check out the poster! I thought of Buffistas immediately)

Regarding today's hour-long server outage:

The problem was caused by another user who was overloading the server. The problem has been fixed and that user has been warned.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Some video clips from today's episode of This Buffista's Old House.

This Buffista's Old House, part 1 (Demonstrating once again why I <heart> Nutty. Not to be missed, even if you're bandwidth impaired. 4.4MB).

Punishingly Intricate

Attention Baltimore & DC-Area-istas!

My band, Secret Crush Society, is playing this Friday, July 11th, at the Mojo Room (formerly the Tattoo). First band goes on at 10 and we're playing 3rd I think. I'm not sure what the cover is but shouldn't be more than $7.

The club is at 4825 Belair Road (btwn Moravia Rd. & Northern Parkway in north east Baltimore).

Come see us. We're fun and I heard that there would be someone there who thinks you're cute!

"Within you is the most amazing feeling you can possibly imagine. All that you look for, that you have looked for all your life, has always been right inside of you."

Incredible site! I had no idea that the Buffista network was so large. This is my first time on the site and I can't wait to come back. Hoped to talk to you all soon!

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

Erinaceous is cleaning her office again! Who wants a Chicago Tribune promo Smallville poster? Mint! First email has it ...

Lex looks hot and smug, Clark looks broody, and Lana looks like she's thinking "I wonder what my parents are doing?"

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Two friends have forwarded this to me already. I can't go, but maybe other Boston folks want to?
