Posted here for people who may be planning on attending the F2F but who don't read the thread:
Please review the lists below. These indicate whether or not we have planned for your presence.
If you or a friend are not on the list, please contact me immediately.
These people are confirmed and have paid for Prom tickets for Saturday night:
CaBil, Ms. Havisham, Madrigal, Emily, Erin, elphaba, ita, Dana, Susan W., Laura Holt +1, DX, Jon B, Erikaj, Jen, DavidS, JZ + 2, JessPMoon, Fay NoiseDesign, Aimee, MM, Steph, Allyson, Aurelia, Nicole, Deb Grabien, Perkins, PMM +1, Tom Scola, Jilli +1, Java Cat,meara, Betsy, Shawn, Trudy, Theodosia
These people have said they will be at the F2F, but have not yet purchased a Prom ticket:
Sean, Karl + 2, Beth + 1.
These are the people who may be attending, but I cannot tell based on the posts from today so I'd like to hear from them asap:
shrift, Nutty, Consuela.
Is anyone planning on attending and not on this list? I hate to be a bitch about this, but if I don't know you are coming, then it's highly conceivable we're going to fuck up on things like food and space, for during the prom and rooms. While it's really cool and exciting that our
numbers have swelled so much, we originally planned for 35-45. And our numbers now are closer to 55 which is freaking Allyson (and vicariously me) out a bit.
So please,
READ THE LIST. If you are planning on coming and are not on a list above, please e-mail me at kgullo@earthlink.net immediately.
here's the deal, if you are planning on being there, you must tell me by COB on Friday. You can waffle on payment as long as 5/20. But if you do not email me with "I am planning on being there," then I will assume you will not be attending.

Betsy HP "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" May 16, 2003 2:16:30 pm EDT
The Lightbulb thread is open to discuss a proposal made by Betsy HP (in March) to grandfather all old decisions under the moratorium. (e.g. We decided not to have a war thread, before we started voting. If Betsy's proposal goes to vote and passes, it would mean in the case of the war thread, that since that decision was made in the regular old-fashioned way before we voted, we shouldn't reopen it before the moratorium passes, just to vote on it.)
Much time has passed, and some things have changed since Betsy first made her proposal. Her first two posts in Lightbulb (the first of which is linked at the top of this post) explain the proposal and then discuss the pros and cons. Nutty is questioning if it is moot. I am questioning whether old decisions should be grandfathered under the 6 month moratorium that did pass.
