I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Attention Bay Area Buffistas!

The Parkway Theater in Oakland is showing the Buffy Finale on Tuesday May 20. $2 admission, see the show on a BIG screen, drink beer and eat decent pizza and salads.

The Parkway is easy to find off Highway 580 or 880, and on-street parking is available (if occasionally rare).

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

NPR's All Things Considered will be running a feature today on the future of Buffy Studies after the show ends. Check [link] for links to feeds and/or your local station.

Scholars often consider life's biggest questions -- morality and mortality, for example. And so does Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The TV show has developed a cult following of sorts among the academic crowd. But only two episodes of the show remain before Buffy leaves the air for good. We'll discuss what this means for the future of what some have termed Buffy studies.

The audio for this program will be available online after 9PM ET, 6PM PT

Dan note: heh. Just after Buffy Airs in the ET/CT zone.
