Hey all. Wanted to announce I will be in Chicago at a conference on May 8-12. The conference only actually goes through the 10th, and I will have some down time during which I would love to meet people and talk goofy Buffista talk with them. Alas that my trip and Noise Design's trip do not coincide!
Alternately, those brave Buffistas who were in Chicago last year: what to do? Where to go? Any [ambulatory or subwayatory] Chicago-tourist advice appreciated and loved at my profile email.
Going dark for a week, as I'm going to be in Vegas with a thousand other Goths.
Raleigh-Durham-area Buffistas, come see me in the chorus of THYESTES. Raleigh Ensemble Players presents the show as the final selection of the 2002-03 season.
We open April 24 and run to May 10, so you have three weekends in which to see the show over, and over, and over again.
This is the most exciting show I've ever worked on.

Sixteen Bay Area Buffistas are having a mini-F2F this weekend, Sat. April 26, to welcome Kate P. to our shores. (Our outing includes a tour of American Fencers, where amych gets her weapons, and Emmett!)
If you are a Bay Area Buffista (or Bay Area visitor that weekend), and we have missed including you, please send me an email asap so we can loop you into the plan and yahoogroup (profile addy good). Thanks!
Hey, y'all!! Okay, so amyth and I are taking a bit of initiative and organizing a mini F2F in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. We're thinking maybe middle of July, but wanted to take a poll to see who is interested and when they'd be available.
Please email amyth at her profile addy.
Don't have an agenda right now, but I can promise lots of sweet tea and hot weather. And maybe a Xandercentric t-shirt...
My interview with poet Patricia Smith is up on OC Weekly. She's reading in Orange County, CA, on Friday. I know Rebecca Lizard's a fan, so I figured I'd mention it.
Yes, I know the date's wrong on the story.
