Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Sixteen Bay Area Buffistas are having a mini-F2F this weekend, Sat. April 26, to welcome Kate P. to our shores. (Our outing includes a tour of American Fencers, where amych gets her weapons, and Emmett!)

If you are a Bay Area Buffista (or Bay Area visitor that weekend), and we have missed including you, please send me an email asap so we can loop you into the plan and yahoogroup (profile addy good). Thanks!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hey, y'all!! Okay, so amyth and I are taking a bit of initiative and organizing a mini F2F in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. We're thinking maybe middle of July, but wanted to take a poll to see who is interested and when they'd be available.

Please email amyth at her profile addy.

Don't have an agenda right now, but I can promise lots of sweet tea and hot weather. And maybe a Xandercentric t-shirt...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

My interview with poet Patricia Smith is up on OC Weekly. She's reading in Orange County, CA, on Friday. I know Rebecca Lizard's a fan, so I figured I'd mention it.

Yes, I know the date's wrong on the story.

The first item in NickBrendon.com's 2003 auction to benefit the Stuttering Foundation of America is up on eBay!

The piece you'll be bidding on is WHITE FONTED for Non-NAFDA folks: the hospital bracelet Xander wore after losing an eye to Caleb in "Dirty Girls".

All is well that ends in pizza.

Warning May or may not be spoilers!

Zap2it has an article about the last two Angel eps this season.

Could someone spoiled check it out and report in the Angel thread?

Nobody

The above link is fairly spoilery. Avoid it if you're a phobe. See Cindy "Angel 2: No Time for Losers" Apr 27, 2003 7:48:02 pm EDT for a description of how spoilery it is (the description doesn't spoil).

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Cross-posted from Bitches:

Heads up to the DC area Buffistas--my company is creating a new job in my department for a Web editor/newsletter editor/marketing assistant. They're hoping to get someone to start in early June. Things they're looking for include strong writing skills, knowledge of Word and Excel, familiarity with the Web (not a problem with this crew), and some familiarity with HTML.

The company itself is a small publishing company/book distributor that publishes a lot of statistical references and distributes publications from U.S. gov't along with publications from the UN and its ilk. Its located in Lanham, MD, not far from the New Carrolton metro stop (I think you can get a bus from there to here, but I don't know the details).

Plus, as you can tell, accessing the Phoenix board from work is not a problem.

If anyone wants any more info, you can email me at my profile addy or at aweber AT bernan DOT com.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My last ever ScoopMe column is up. Just to make me feel good, go forth and read. It's an interview with the author of Slayer Slang, the book erinaceous edited.
