For anyone who is interested: the Lysistrata Project is Monday, March 3, in every state and countries around the world.
Actors will protest a possible war with Iraq on March 3 by reading “Lysistrata,” the Aristophanes anti-war satire in which women stop a war in ancient Greece by withholding sex until the men come to their senses.
Many of the readings are free, with donations going to peace organizations.

THEREMIN MARCH MADNESS IN CAMBRIDGE, MA!
Who needs a witty intro? Let the concept wit for itself.
Every Friday night in March, I (known this month as Jonnie Spaceman) will be playing melodies on my theremin alongside various and sundry other local musicians. Each week will have a different theme as follows:
March 7 - The Beatles' Revolver album in it's entirety (the 14 song UK/CD version, of course!). Accompanying will be Tony Goddess (Papas Fritas, Prettiest Gurls) on guitar and Winston Yu (Boston Philharmonic, Solar Saturday) on violin.
March 14 - Disco Hits of the 70's. With Michael McLaughlin (The Pee Wee Fist, Naftule's Dream, Shirim) on accordion. That's right -- theremin and accordion arrangements of disco tunes.
March 21 - Punk/New Wave Hits of the 70's and 80's. Guests tentatively scheduled include Clint Conley (Mission of Burma, Consonant), Winston Braman (Fuzzy, Consonant, Count-Me-Outs), Hilken Mancini (Fuzzy, Count-Me-Outs, Punk Rock Aerobics), and Jeff Czekaj (Tardy, Anchormen, Sinkcharmer).
March 28 - Techno-Theremin-Megamix. A more improvisational evening with Jake Trussell (DJ C, Electro Organic Sound System, Tiger Saw, Cul De Sac) on turntables and electronics.
It all happens at ZuZu's, 474 Mass. Ave. in Central Square, Cambridge, MA. Shows start at 11:30pm sharp. Admission is FREE but space is limited, so arrive early and have some dinner....
Any questions, email me or post in the Music thread (I can never keep up with Natter, and Music seems appropriate for this).

This is the best thing every made: The Wayback Machine. It's a search function of the UC Berkeley Internet Archive Project, which regularly sweeps the 'net to archive sites and pages. Just enter the URL and go.
It's extraordinarily cool and helpful.
