Any Canadianistas use the Nook Color? Friend of relative thinking about getting it for her daughter; wondered if there were weird international accessibility issues?

All,
Beau is very involved with Playstation Madden NFL and plays in several leagues. His group is in need of some assistance with a web tool to track statistics for league games. This kind of web development is way outside my area of expertise, but I thought people here might be interested. He and his crew were members of leaguedaddy.com but it is now defunct and they are looking for an alternative that they will pay for. Below is his email to me about this, but if anyone here is interested or knows someone who might be interested for some side income, please give me a holler at profile addy.
I am looking for someone to create a database that will record stats for my Madden videogame league. Specifically, a site that will record NFL statistics similar to NFL stats.
For example, I have 20 owners in my league.
Each owner utilizes a team with offensive and defensive players. When we input our data we need to be able to record offensive stats (for Halfbacks, Receivers, Quarterbacks) defensive stats (tackles, sacks, interceptions, fumbles) and team stats (3rd down conversions, yards gained, Total Rushing/Passing yards, etc.).

And now, New Jersey voters:
Due to Hurricane Sandy, Governor Christie has made some important changes that that may make it easier for you to vote.
• You can go vote early at your County Clerk today. [Edit: may have changed]
• Residents who want to vote electronically can submit a mail-in ballot application either by e-mail or fax to their county clerk (you'll need to call them to find out their email address). Once the application is approved, the clerk will electronically send a ballot back to the voter also by e-mail or fax. Voters must return the ballot electronically by 8 p.m. on Nov. 6. Applications for mail-in ballots can be found here: [link] Visitors to the website should ignore messages saying applications cannot be faxed or e-mailed. For details, call your County Clerk
• If you can't get to your normal polling place, you can cast a provisional ballot in person on Tuesday in a county other than the one that you're registered in.3 Further information is available by calling the following toll-free number: 1-877-NJVOTER (1-877-658-6837).

I think it's time again for my sotra-annually-Christmas-announcement/reminder to Buffistas with religious affiliates.
For those of you who don't know: I live between Haifa and Jerusalem, Israel, and spend most of my time in them. I also know this board has religious people on it, or people with religious families and friends.
So if any of you of any faith would like something from here - say, the Old City in Jerusalem, or the interfaith Festival of Festivals in Haifa - for Christmas or any other occasion, it's really easy for me to get it and send it overseas. In fact, I'd love to do this for you, given enough guidance and information (I am and was raised Jewish, and pretty much everything I know about Christianity came from popular culture TV). And yes, I'm OK with rubbing objects against graves/approximated graves/holy locations, if that what turns you on.
Profile addy is good, and again - it's not a hassle. It's a thing I enjoy doing for my friends abroad.
Happy holidays!
The Westside German Shepherd Rescue is where we rescued our beloved Kaylee. They are about to lose their home after a benefactor who had promised extended support abandoned them. Anything you can spare to help them as they find new places for the more than 60 dogs in their care would be welcome. Please help, and please spread the word. [link]
Do we have folks in the Mamaroneck area? My friends S & J (also friends with Trudy!) just opened their new comic store there, and the grand opening is tomorrow night. If their store in Northampton is any guide, the new Modern Myths is going to be fantastic!
Next Onerous Task Day, Friday, November 16th (tomorrow!)
Taking Care of Business, baby! TCB!
Cross off those to-do lists.
Get that shit done and enjoy the weekend.
I'm going to throw in three reminders of things which may or may not be onerous, but tend to slip my mind. Feel free to ignore these but I just thought I'd toss these out:
1. Have you flossed lately? Maybe floss your teeth.
2. Have you done anything with your estate planning? If you kicked tomorrow would your nearest and dearest be able to easily and readily resolve your estate? Or cancel your subscription to Bust? Make it easy on your loved ones, even if its just a folder with all the key info.
3. Do you have a creative project that you've let lapse? A fiction that's just short of a rewrite from being great? A knitting project started and left at the bottom of the basket? A promised photo album? Maybe pick that project back up this weekend.
Okay, apologies for the nudging but sometimes I need reminders.
Also - don't let that Groupon go to waste! It's going to run out soon.
Additional Onerous Task Note:
If you're a USian employed by a USian employer, chances are this month is Open Enrollment and it's ending soon. If you haven't already gone over your enrollments and updated what needs updating (as well as review any other deductions and allowances and retirement stuff that may need tweaking), tomorrow would be an excellent day to do so.
